The software for Palm and for Windows has a built-in demonstration mode for evaluation without connecting to a vehicle.
Demo Palm users: (1) Download the PDA-Dyno for Palm Software Demo. (2) Unzip the downloaded file. (3) HotSync all the unzipped files onto the Palm handheld using the Quick Install button within your PC's Palm Desktop software. (4) Tap the Dyno-Scan icon on the Palm to start the demo.
To enable demo mode, on the Connect Screen click Connect to Vehicle Demo, then select Connect to Vehicle.
Demo Windows users: (1) Download the LaptopDyno for Windows Software Demo. (2) Unzip the downloaded file. (3) Execute Setup.exe to start the installation. Please be patient, it is a very large file.
To enable demo mode, on the Connect Screen click Connect to Vehicle Demo, then select Connect to Vehicle.

Diagnostic Trouble Code Databases
Lookup definitions for a numeric DTCs (e.g. code P1234 might mean "Engine Oil Pressure Too Low"). The Generic database contains hundred of codes applicable to all makes and models. Additionally, enhanced manufacturer specific codes are located in separate databases. If your vehicle make is not listed, the scan tool will still work and will read the codes within the generic range.
