Introduction:
Not-Hot® is a liquid additive for preventative maintenance and
basically consists of a pH stabilizer, heat transfer improver, oxygen scavenger
to prevent cavitation, corrosion and pitting and is a lubricant for water
pump seals and thermostats. When mixed with water or antifreeze solution
the coolant becomes virtually nonconductive and therefore inhibits electrolysis.
The unique formulation lowers coolant temperature up to 30EF, dissolves deposits
and prevents new scale built up.
Product Description:
Not-Hot® softens deposits until completely dissolved and deforms
their natural crystalline shape so they cannot recombine and form solids.
The cleaning action is done slowly and safely so not to disturb the deposits
in chunks. Eventually all deposits are dissolved restoring coolant system
efficiency. It also contains a surfactant which prevents bacterial growth
and eliminates water surface tension by making hot-spots in the engine more
accessible to the coolant, improving heat transfer. Not-Hot® is
completely harmless to all metals and materials found in cooling systems
and contains 12 corrosion inhibitors in a biodegradable, long life formulation.
Advantages:
Not-Hot® is compatible with all antifreezes and is biodegradable.
Not-Hot® has passed the government safety tests for human handling
and is classified as non-toxic and non-injurious. Not-Hot® is harmless
to all paints and metals.
Not-Hot® has a built-in color strength indicator and when mixed
with water becomes milky pink. The pink fades out as the inhibitor is used
up. When the pink is nearly gone, add more Not-Hot® to maintain
safe conditions. A cooling system treated with Not-Hot® does not
require to be drained, because the suspended contaminants are rendered harmless.
However, if the contamination is excessive, due to the heavy contamination
of the system before the Not-Hot® cleaning action started, the
color strength indicator cannot be observed and the system should be drained,
flushed and retreated with Not-Hot®.
Not-Hot® comes in concentrated form and the initial dosage is
only 4 ounces to every 5 gallons of coolant. To maintain effectiveness, add
2 ounces to coolant every 6 month.
